I discovered The Room by accident while walking around the neighborhood looking for a quick lunch. The food menu is very limited but Ive been there twice now and both sandwiches I tried were tasty. The atmosphere seemed a little more lively the first time I went, with a group of college students debating political issues and the like. The second time, the place was pretty dead and the server seemed bored and not that friendly or talkative.All in all, I think its a bit too expensive – though perhaps it has great coffee drinks (didnt try them there). I dont live in Baltimore though just come here for work occasionally. So its tough for me to compare it with a lot of other offerings in the same area. It seems like this part of town primarily has middle eastern ethnic restaurants though, so maybe The Room offers something unique without traveling a lot further?
