Yuck. NOT a fan. I like Zen16 better but still feel like Bel Air is missing a GOOD sushi place. I’d still drive to Towson or Cockeysville to Sushi Hana or Edo Sushi for better quality…

I used to like this place, decent sushi when I have a craving and it’s close to the house. However last three visits either me or one of my friends got sick…. so I won’t ever be going back. Caution. Something happened there, used to be good and no issues.

The Worst Ever. I have eaten sushi all over – Japan, California, Chicago, Florida, Baltimore, Washington, NYC and at least three places in Harford County, MD. This place SUCKS!!! The fish didn’t smell bad, but it had not taste whatsoever. I had salmon, tuna, yellow tail and cooled eel. All sushi. I also had some soup, seaweed sala (which they loaded with chunks of cucumbers on the bottom to make it look big) and green tean. The sushi had no taste; everything was bland. No big chunks of fresh fish; they used scraps to cover the rice. Everything was the smallest portion I have ever seen. All the fish was left uncovered in the cooler; some smashed against the glass under the plates. The spicy tuna roll contained no tuna, just a mayonaze paste.I sat at the Sushi Bar. No conversation and the wait staff kept leaning over my plate and shoulder to get their food. I guess if the only place you have eaten Sushi is in Harford County and out of a can of tuna, this place might suffice. Try fresh fried catfish; you’ll enjoy it more. The worst Sushi I have ever eaten. The eel was cold; the soup had one piece of shrimp and a sliver of crab. with chunks of tomato and diced green peppers.I will never go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I give fuji sushi 2 stars. The service last night was horrible. On a Saturday night they really need a bus boy or someone to help refill water glasses and clear the plates from the tables. The plates are huge and the empty plates sat on the table the whole meal. The sushi came at the same time as the meals and there wasn’t enough room for all the plates. The $9 roll I ordered were tiny and by itself and looked lost on the large plate. The fire island roll was beautifully presented and worthwhile. Our water glasses were never refilled. The restaurant is not very gluten free friendly. The menu doesn’t indicate gluten free items and the waitstaff does not know whether items are gluten free or not and don’t seem too eager to find out. Large empty plates sat on the table until after we left. I had to ask the greeter for something to take my left overs home in. The salmon was delicious.

Surprisingly good!!. Went here the other night before going to meditation. When we got there and saw the outside, we were a little scared. The place looked kinda run-down and ugly. Once inside, it was nice and everyone greeted you with a smile. It looked empty from the outside, but there were folks inside and enjoying themselves. We were seated and ordered a taste of the Plum Wine. Way too sweet for us! So we ordered a bottle of White Zin (not my first choice, but its all they really had). For food we ordered: Honey Boston, Spicy Tuna Roll, and the Black Dragon Roll. All was pretty good, though the Tuna Roll was kinda ehh. The tuna wasn’t that fresh and looked kinda like canned tuna. We both were impressed with the eel (was in the Black Dragon), as neither have ever had it. The overall presentation was awesome. Sadly we didn’t have our cameras with us to take pictures of it!All in all not a bad place. Will I go back? Maybe.. But there are too many other places on my list.

By far the best sushi place around. Even better than places in NYC and LA. Staff is wonderful. They are very nice and friendly to myself and my children. A great place!!
