I must say that this is a really great chinese food place. I love the fried wontons, all the soups and the lo-mein. I’ve never had a bad meal here. You owe it to yourself to try it.
Best in area.. Ok, maybe that’s not really accurate. After eating food from Little China (meow! OMG! wth?!!), I was nervous for years about trying more Chinese places near Essex. So I haven’t actually tried that many. I moved here from Towson / Timonium, and have eaten in NY dim sum parlors, I have to say that China Kitchen is comparable to any of the world-class 5-star places I have eaten. And guess what? The prices are middle of the road. I can only credit this disparity to an awesome cook and lousy publicity. Whatever the cause, I am happy to eat their amazing food and pay their average prices.
