An excellent experience in downtown Brunswick. The chicken shawarma platter was a great balance of flavors with the delicate cucumber sauce. The kabob platter was generous with chicken and nicely seasoned. And the baklava was a wonderful finish to the meal. The service was prompt and friendly. We will be back!

No one would think there was even a food scene in tiny, fast shrinking Brunswick, MD…but the Potomac Street Grill is going fine, now into their third year in a town hurting economically. The Grill offers authentic Middle East foods, along with American faves. The food is consistently excellent, portions are generous, prices are fair ,service is friendly, and the owner/chef is a real treasure. Open 7 days a week, Monday at 4PM, all other days at 11AM, w/breakfast on weekends from 11-1PM (but you can get lunch or dinner anytime). Recently added grilled flounder is great, and menu changes keep eating here always an adventure. Full bar, local beers on tap, family friendly as well as good place for singles or groups. No reservations needed, but if you are large group doesn’t hurt to give them few minutes warning. Take-out available.
