Captain Smith's Seafood has had a long tradition of providing quality seafood in the Solomons. In early 2015 Chris and Dawn Bowen purchased the business and are working hard to continue that tradition, as well as making efforts to improve and expand the business. In addition to the favorites, such as steamed crabs, fresh Rock fish, shrimp and a variety of shellfish, new items and daily specials are being regularly added to our menu. The crab cakes are outstanding. Thick,very tasty & tons of crab meat. It is a definitely more take out than dine in. A fish market atmosphere.

Everyone is human but visited location three times in five days. Two of the days was overcharged by $50 each time on credit card Only good thing was able to be resolved.
This restaurant & seafood store has both eat in & take out. I bought cooked crabcake & hush puppies to take out. Then, ate it outside at the hotel balcony overlooking the water. (Hence, the romantic part.) The fried crabcake was fresh.
My husband frequently goes here for crabs and steamed shrimp. They have awesome prices and good quality.
