The ONLY saving grace of this establishment is their live music. We came for dinner on a night when they had a festival right outside their door and should have been better prepared for the crowd. Food was decent… Except for the potato skins which were disgusting – they came to us refrigerator-cold. The fried pickles we ordered were actually pretty good. Service was less than fantastic (people were nice, they were just inexperience? Understaffed? Who knows, but something wasn’t right). A solid thumbs down. Except for the music, the band made the meal bearable.
Worst food in Cambridge. I have never seen a restaurant with worst food that is still able to operate. Oh thats right the proprietors own the building. Don’t waste your time on any of the food its all equally bad. They do have a nice bar if your only interested in a drink then you’ll be safe. Sad food for such a great space could be wonderful if they would find a decent chef!
Great place. Loved the food. Beautifully decorated. Staff was amazing. My wife enjoyed the music. We had a wonderful evening.
Much Improved!. The atmosphere was always great, but with the new chef and menu, the dining experience was more memorable. I had the stracciatella (?) and my boyfriend had the five lily soup (french onion) and it was delicious – all homemade. Then we had the frutti di mare which smelled out of this world and I ordered the filet and shrimp brasilia and was very happy with it. The steak was cooked medium the way I had ordered it. The creme brulee for dessert was the best! Oh and they also make the best Irish coffees!
The food and service here continues to go from bad to worse!
Canvasback. This is such a classy comfy place to eat or even grab a beer. The Crab dip is the best ive ever had. Make sure to try the crab cakes too!! I love how there is a huge dining area in the back to book big parties. I just loved it and the staff is very nice and welcoming.
