Best Seafood in Eldersburg. You can’t get better crabs in old Eburg than the ones you find at Captain Dan’s. Steamed perfectly and loaded with Old Bay, they are delicious. Also very good at Captain Dan’s are the flounder stuffed with crab and the crab cakes. Too many places under season their cakes, but not at Dan’s. Their crab cakes are loaded with seasoning, heavy on the crab and very light on the filler. The coleslaw is great and the onion rings are the best I have ever eaten. Always hot and crispy.

Over steamed!. Every time ive gotten the crab from here they are over steamed and even when i eat in they still somehow taste like paper bag…wtf??? plus the spice if to hott for me..and im not old at all so i like spicy but eww its way toomuch from here..but try salernos they actually know how to cook crabs and spice them..yumm and they both get the crabs from the same distributer sooo it is how capt dans cooks them that is just nasty..yuck
Raised Prices-BS!. When calling saturday I was told no orders are being taken to call back sunday at 830 am, which I did. when I got through I was told they only had smalls and jumbos and all others are by the dozen. More gouging on way high prices. They keep the good crabs at higher rates and wont sell you half or full bushels like they are out of them. Salernos will now get all my business, they can keep their crooked tactics and high prices, plus Salernos was cheaper on what I was told Captn Dans had the day before anyway! So I am glad they ran me off. I will certainly share the word with all my friends and family. We help you when the economy is bad and this is how we get repaid at the holiday for our friends and family gatherings……NOT
Well, I got crabs. But it felt good!
