Great meal, nice atmosphere. Recently had dinner on a Saturday night. Small restaurant so I would highly recommend reservations. Large bar with no separation from dining area.Subdued lighting adds to the pub atmosphere. I had the crab cake. Not your typical Old Bay Maryland crab cake. It was very tasty and spicy. My husband had the grouper, also very tasty. Waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful in his recommendations. Will definitely be back!

Awesome!. Awesome food, cozy atmosphere, attentive and friendly service. Try any entre on the menu and you wont be disappointed! I visit frequently and really like to try the specials. The executive chef always has something new and different to try. This is a great place for a girls night out or to meet up with friends. They don’t really have a kids menu and seem to cater more to the adult crowd then to families. The owners are always around and it shows that they run a tight ship. If you haven’t gone go!!!

Great place to share with friends. If you haven’t been to the Cork you are missing out on a great experience. This place is comfortable and classy. The food ranges from good to outstanding. The menu changes periodically keeping the dining experience fresh. I can’t say enough about the kitchen, there is some real culinary craft going on behind those doors. The folks that frequent the Cork are friendly, fun and interesting. I’ve engaged in many great conversations with complete strangers over the delicious food or a great wine pairing or a fantastic scotch. The staff is very friendly, attentive and they know their wines. The Cork brings a whole new level of class to the area. If you are a gastronomist (foodie) you need to visit the Cork. You will not be disappointed. Bon Vivant!

Not a Good Experience. The first time there, the food was great, the wait staff was just fine, and the overall experience was quite nice – maybe that was because we went for an early dinner, around 5 pm on a Saturday. The second time we went, we went a little later, maybe 6’ish on a weekend. That was okay until we asked for more bread to finish eating up our Crab fondue with Brie – they give you a little loaf. When we asked for more, we were told that it would cost $2.00 for more bread. – ?????? are you kidding me? Are you going to charge us for extra water too? That didn’t sit well with us. The third time we went was last night – we got there at 6:30 pm and the place was packed. Ok, fair enough. We asked how long the wait would be. The hostess first asked if we had reservations. We did not so she told us 20 minutes. We decided to stay and sit at the bar until we were called. Long story short, it took them over an hour to seat us. We watched party after party complain about having to wait much much longer than they were told. I finally asked to speak to the manager – the owner came to our table and had nothing but excuses – never apologized, never offered anything, and just walked away from me while I was still talking, suggesting that they need to be real with the wait time so people have the option of eating somewhere else if they want to. She just walked away from me.Needless to say, we are never going back there again. Although the food is good, the service sucks and it’s just not worth it.

Not Impressed. After reading the other reviews on this site, I wondered why those dishes were not on the menu when we went. The twisted turkey was but so many of the others in past reviews were not on the menu. I ordered a salad that had croutons that were huge-I had to cut them to be able to get them in my mouth.I added grilled shrimp to the salad. $6 for 4 shrimp about the size of quarters and were over grilled. The service was horrible. Very slow. We needed more crackers for the crab/brie fondue-which was really good-and it took about 15 minutes to get them. In the mean time, the fondue got cold. The atmosphere was interesting. Liked the colors and decor but the big screen tvs around the bar that were easily seen by the entire restaurant gave it a sports bar feel. It seems like they were confused about the direction of the restaurant. The entrees ordered by others in our group seemed good-no one really complained. We got the mocha vanilla bread pudding for dessert. Very generous portion! Huge-especially for the price. But didn’t taste any mocha or vanilla. It was like a mild spice cake with little flavor. And no home-made vanilla ice cream as advertised. Really disappointing. Overall, an average experience. Not sure we will go back. Like the Iron Bridge Wine Company much better if I’m going for a wine bar experience.
