We were surprised by the excellent crab cakes, a huge improvement over our last visit. You can’t beat the view here from the outside deck, which puts you as close as you could possibly get to boats coming and going from Somers Cove Marina.
We had dinner here while on a road trip up the coast. My wife had crab cakes and I had the scallops, both were great as was the service. Smith Isaland cake for dessert.
$4 per large crab. Great deal. Waterfront seating and friendly staff. Side salads large and fresh. Nice view.
Great food at a good price. Plenty size portions, and fast service. We have been from Norfolk to the top of the bay and this is about as good as it gets for crab of any recipe. Cornfield is a hidden gem.
My wife and I had dinner there for the first time on Saturday evening. Our server was friendly and very helpful. Both of us had the fried flounder meals, the food was great. The seafood there is fresh and Captain Tyler’s has a great view.
