Great Food…Even Better Dessert. The food was great. The dessert was outstanding. The plastic water glasses, however, really need to be replaced with glass.
Great Italian Restaurant. One of the best italian restaurant meals I have ever had. Bolognese was awesome as was my wife’s chicken Marsala. The cannoli’s were out of this world. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Best in town!. My dad and I ate there last weekend and as always – Tony you did a great job. Food was to die for. Love it!
Rude and Arrogant Owner. Have dined here several times and have always encountered the same arrogant owner. Food is average and one time we didn’t even get our food after waiting for an hour. People around us who were seated after us were all receiving their food and we never did. Will never dine here again.
Stopped in while passing through town and was pleasantly surprised. Almost everyone there seemed like frequent repeat customers and the staff was attentive without going overboard like some places do. The simple pasta entree took some time but turned out to be worth the wait. Portion sizes are just right for me. The chocolate cake (suggested by a different server while passing by) was really good – almost a liquid chocolate frosting. Look forward to visiting again on my return trip through the area.
Love it!. My husband and I just had dinner here and it was wonderful as always! The service was just attentive enough. My paparadelle and meatballs were delicious and my husband loved his risotto with scallops. We have been coming to Ristorante Ottaviani for special occasions for 3 years and even had our wedding reception in June at the restaurant. People are still talking about the food and service. Tony and his staff always do a wonderful job.
Lack of service. Part of a business dinner consisting of 13 in the party, we arrived early at approximately 4:30 pm and were the only customers in the restaurant. It took over 30 minutes to get our drink orders but only after I had to go downstairs to ask one of the servers who were standing around if anyone was coming to take our order. The ‘Italian’ dishes consisted of primarily pasta dishes which were priced for the ‘city’, definitely not Cumberland. My wife (and most of my friends) can cook better tasting food at home. Finally after the meal, once again we were treated to waiting for over half an hour to get our check, then after another 25 minutes I had to go down once again to ask if anyone was going to process our check.Definitely would never recommend this for any type of going out occasions.
