Excellent soft shell crabs and crab cakes! Definitely coming back
Bethesda Crab House does not recycle. Despite the fact that recycling is the law in Montgomery County and the right thing to do everywhere, BCH refuses to recycle hundreds of bottles and cans each day because — according to them — it’s too much work. Instead, after every meal, they wrap up the table covering and toss paper, plastic, aluminum, and glass into the trash. Montgomery County’s Division of Solid Waste Services refuses to enforce the law because – apparently – it’s too much work for them, too. Meantime, BCH continues to benefit from the Chesapeake harvest while polluting the Bay area. I’d like to go back and eat there again when they understand the connection between a healthy environment, a healthy crab, and healthy profits.

Yummie. I am looking for a great crab and shrimp place to eat for my b’day this Sat. so I tried out BCH.. Wow the crabs were delicious and the cold slaw. I wanted fried shrimp but they only have steamed, much healthier I k now but I did not indulge. For my b’day I’m going to try another location Captian Pell’s in Fairfax to compare… But I got a great spot now near work place with the cravings for crab hits. You go Bethesda Crab House (BCH) thanks for a great lunch today !!!!!!! the corn was good too and that melted butter. !!!
The Best Crab Cake Sandwiches in the US. I love crab cakes and sample them wherever I go. The ones prepared here are the best. Pricey for the atmosphere, but not the quality.
