Waited over 30 mins just to order drinks food took forever to arrive maybe like 1 hour later on a Sunday night really.. Sushi wasn’t all that good I would rather go Hanarro
Great sushi. We ordered a good variety of rolls. We tried the lobster roll, the volcano, the spicy scallop with quail egg along with a few other rolls, and all were delicious. We paired it with a sparkling saki.
We order takeout from Raku on a bi-weekly basis. Love the red curry udon soup – savory and filling. Sushi and sides are also quite good, but the noodle soups are extraordinary. Loud and hectic (inside) with long wait most nights — take away is quick and reliable.
I would have to disagree with the remark to service.. my past experience at this location was more than fantastic eveb compared to past visits. Friendly wait staff, exceptional and quick service, along with a smile. Food was great and tasted super fresh as usual, and with a great price point on the menu all around I have been pleased with my experiences
I only wrote I like it because of the food. The service is the worst I have experienced at a resturant. I would say that calling the service slow and tolerable would be generous. If it wasn’t for the chefs and the quality of food this place would have failed along time ago. It still could with the evolution of the sucessful restaurant in downtown Bethesda.
