Forget It. We used to be regulars here under previous management but had stopped going due to bad experiences/declines in all areas of operations including food. We decided to give them a try after a few years and they’ve actually gotten much worse! Though they were half-empty on a weekend night (others may have had similar recent experiences) they actually refused to make our meals this time. As reviewers have noted elsewhere if you don’t want EXACTLY what the menu or preparation instructions in back say comes in/on the dish (no removals, no substitutions, no customization – even on a burger!) don’t set foot inside. Well do yourself a favor and don’t set foot inside anyway (unless you think you should pay top dollar for whatever the kitchen deigns to send out on your plate). Lazy kitchen staff, uncaring conceited management, rip off prices. They would rather turn away business in an empty house than leave off something you don’t want on your overpriced burger. A near-$20(!) burger and they won’t leave off something you can’t eat (nor add anything you want to it)? It could have been a scene in a farce. Our waitress was embarrassed that the manager and head chef could care less about the clientele. There are much better restaurants all over Bethesda. This place used to be packed with long waits any time any day. No surprise it wasn’t anymore. We got what we wanted better and for a lot less up the street at a restaurant that values its customers.
