This is CRAB HOUSE – stick to it!. I have eaten at Micks more than a dozen times. I rarely get bad service. I have read the numerous reviews here and I have to concur… This is a CRAB HOUSE. If you come for crabs and cold beer, you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for something else, well then you are kinda on your own. My wife is not a crab picker and orders other items. While her food has been fine – it definately was not a star attraction. Stick to the crabs and you will be in great shape!
My husband and I go to micks often. We go for the crabs. We are serious blue crab eaters and micks has the best around. Ive had the maryland crab soup there and it was very good. Its a crab shack. For crab lovers.
L went to Mick’s crab house with my family on 04/12/14. Myself and my husband ordered the Rockfish meal. When the meal came I took two bites of the fish to taste and it was bland and flavorless. We I advised the waitstaff that I wanted to return my meal and order a different entree, I was confronted by the owner and he told us that he would not refund our money because this was a good dish. After repeated attempts to try to resolve the issue and the owner being very rude, confrontational, disrespectful and irrational the police had to be called. I will NEVER go to this place again and the owner fought us over a $24 meal when our bill was over $100 and that didn’t include the other guest at our table. Please don’t go to this restaurant if you don’t like eating food that is nasty and bland.
Dirty, nasty, gross. My family went and the place smelled, reluctantly, we sat down. Service was slow. Crabs were old, they had to be. Served with a bucket of old bay and salt on top. I am 50 and have consumed a lot of crabs in my day. These were not even passable as crabs. Old, stinky crabs…save your money.
Good food. We ate at micks for ayce crabs we were happy with the crabs they were full. serve on time and they were friendly enjoy it will go again
