  My family and I have been going to this Germantown location since we movedfrom Texas in 2013. We have been several times and each time is different. I would echo to some degree the most recent review about minor thingsbeing wrong, but it has never reallyhas been that bad. The food is alwaysdelicious and the portions are variable, but always more than we can eat (family of 5 with three boys ages <10). The only time that something wasn't very good was a side dish, onion tanglers, was way too salty. We ate there last night and to our great surprise they haddone some remodeling and turned their dining area into a cafeteria, Texas style,experience with new chairs and tables that do not wobble. It would be nice if the food was not so pricy, but like I say, it is delicious. The BBQ sauces, 3 different kinds (spicy, original, sweet and tangy)are fantastic.

  Honest and Thorough Review. Dickey’s is a place that I’ve been going to since it opened in Germantown. I love their kids eat free on Sundays deal. This location has been through multiple owners, and these seem to be the best ones so far. It has a nice family friendly feel to it, but there seems to always have something that has gone wrong. Wrong meaning they’re out of something, the meat is way over cooked (only has happened a few times), service is really slow, or the portions are to small (not the right amount according to the franchise.) Sometimes I have regret going (it is a little pricey if everything is going wrong), but the next time I go, the problem is resolved. Usually if the problem is resolved, a new one arises though. Dickey’s definitely needs a little help, but overall it is delicious.

  Best bbq in germantown. The ribs were delicious and the brisket was cooked perfectly. For my money I would go back over any other barbecue place in germantown

  The initial service was attentive and the food was fair but the experience was one I would not repeat as the place was over staffed based on the almost empty restaurant and yet the ice was empty and bathroom was not clean. Value for money was not a good match.

  Hoping they get their stuff together. We arrived at Dickey’s around 6:00 pm. There was a nice aroma when you walked in the door. The restaurant was very clean, the lighting could have been a little brighter.There is a large overhead menu to work from, above the employees where you order and they prepare your food. It is easier to read all the side items than the rest of the menu. We did not see any other menu’s to work with. I did not have my glasses on so it was hard to read the sign until we got up closer to the ordering area.We waited in line about 5 minutes before we could place our order, with only 2 customers ahead of us, only one of those waiting to place their order.The staff is kind of slow, if not for someone else ahead of us we would not have been sure how to place our order. The first person finished whatever he was working on for the order placed ahead of us then asked us what we wanted to order. They kind of looked up at us, their voice was not easy to hear and they were not smiling. As we placed our order, the first employee would inform a second employee what they needed to help take care of. The second employee would get confused so eventually we made sure she got the things right that she was working on. Then the cashier asked us what we ordered and also tried to see what was being made. All in all, my wife and I had to make sure our order was made correctly and also rung up properly.We also had a fountain drink, self serve, with brewed ice tea available (sweetened and unsweetened). There were also three kinds of sauces to pick from to add to your meal as well as plenty of utensils and napkins. All of the areas were kept clean and stocked.The ribs were somewhat over-cooked and also were not properly re-heated. They tasted good but had some dry and even burnt areas on them. The Chicken Caesar Salad was made with smoked chicken which was juicy and very flavorful. The salad components were fresh and crunchy.We also had the jalapeno beans and potato salad. The beans were actually the hotter (temperature wise) than the ribs. The potato salad had cilantro in it, which went well with the rest of the components. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and served cold.There is also a free soft ice cream self serve machine for desert.I will try them again and hope to get served properly cooked meat served at the right temperature before I would recommend them to someone.
