We were in the area and looking at the great reviews we decided to give this place a try. We went here at an odd time but still the place was pretty crowded . The menu was very complicated but we finally decided on Arooz con Pollo which was stewed chicken with cilantro infused rice, Pescado Entero which was mixed seafood and fish filet with cream sauce and Peruvian style octopus with potatoes. The octopus was very flavor full and though to be honest we have had more tender octopus than this but this was also close enough. The chicken was extremely tender and the cilantro rice was very flavorful. The mixed seafood dish was very unique we have not tried those flavors before and all the seafood was perfectly cooked. The pan fried fish was extremely crispy and yet moist in-spite of being covered with all the sauce. Though the prices are little on the higher side but the quantities are also huge. Overall a great place to try some nice Peruvian food. foodiemuggles.com

As far as Peruvian Pollo a la Brasa, this place was only ok. The chicken was ok, the yuca needed to be seasoned a little more as well as the black beans which only tasted slightly of garlic. Strangely enough, both the accompanying yellow and red sauces tasted as if they were mixed with Italian dressing seasoning. They have an extensive menu, and I am curious to try some of their other items. As far as the chicken however, I will stick with my favorite place which is Chicken on the Run in Bethesda.

Sardi’s by another name. The manager with a Sardi’s shirt on confirmed my suspicion. This is a good thing, as Sardi’s is by far my favorite rotisserie chicken place in MoCo. The fact that we have a place in Germantown is fantastic. The food is great, specially the chicken. Lots of great sides to choose from. I’d like to see them add bottles of their sauces for the tables. I hate having to keep asking for more and more small pre-filled containers. Come on guys, I order a whole chicken and get as many small sauce containers as a person with 2-pieces?My only confusion was that we could have sat down and let a server take our order. They need to find a way to convey this important information at the entrance. Many of the staff behind the counter speak limited english, add in the noise level when busy and that made ordering at the counter a little difficult. Those that placed orders at their table were served with nice tableware. By ordering at the counter we ended up with plastic plates and utensils.
