Out exploring the area and stopped in for lunch. We had a variety of items and they were all pretty mediocre. The Caesar dressing was not good (tastes like there is horseradish in it?). The sweet potato fries were tasty, but $4 for a side was kind of steep
Great place. I’ve been going to this Woodside location for almost 2 decades now. It’s great comfort food. I love the Rex burger and the Reuben gets raves from my friends who are connoisseurs. You can get breakfast anytime and I highly recommend the blueberry pancakes.
I’m new to the Germantown area and this was a pleasant surprise. This city has plenty of excellent lunch options and this one is definitely one of them. The menu is huge with every sandwich combination I could think of, plenty of breakfast options, soups, burgers, platters, and something basically for everyone. Huge cakes sit under the glass counter just tempting you to indulge. The portions are very generous and the food has been quite tasty. The service is a bit slow as this place is packed during lunch so you might be stretching your hour slightly. I really enjoy the retro decor as well and am definitely coming here sometime for breakfast.
