Horrible!. We waited 30 minutes for a table, because our family we were visiting said many people around town said this was the best sushi ever. Supposedly people come from out of state for it. Well, if that’s true, those people either don’t know sushi or are not prepared for the disappointment. The tables are tiny and close to impossible to really eat at, sushi was room temperature, and most of what we ordered looked and tasted nothing like sushi. On top of that, they use tuna scrape, which is the gross meat found around the bones and looks ground up. It is not good fish for sushi! If you are a texture person when you eat, you will freak out over the tuna since it is all ground up and looks and tastes somewhat like mashed up baby food. One of our rolls was decent, but that’s one out of four and not worth finding out the hard way when it comes to the cost. The tuna scrape, which is what their spicy tuna and crazy horse roll is made with, is a known method for some sushi places (usually not the good ones). It has a hire risk of carrying salmonella also.http://www.npr.org/blogs/thesalt/2012/04/16/150724125/is-tuna-scrape-the-pink-slime-of-sushi We would not recommend this sushi restaurant, but maybe we are just spoiled with our east coast (20 minutes from the ocean) sushi restaurants…although we’ve also had better sushi in the Midwest.
