My husband had the Flat Iron Steak Sandwich, and I had the Flat Iron Steak special. The steak was perfectly seasoned and the exploded potatoes were absolutely delicious!! The guy who took our order was also very nice and helpful. We will definitely be going back!
Great taste combinations and BBQ sauce. Grabbed a quick bite with a friend before the Flying Dog tour and vowed to come back for a full meal. Glad I came back. I tried the BBQ and Exploded Potatoes. The taters were great as usual, but I was most impressed with the BBQ. The menu claimed their sauce was the best in town, which I highly doubted as I’m a bit of a sauce snob, but man if they weren’t close. I can only think of one other place that has better BBQ Beef (Black Hog’s Arkansas Beef) in the Frederick area. My wife had the Lombard, which was a superb blend of tastes. We’ll be back for sure. I’d like to try more of the menu but it’ll be hard to NOT order the BBQ again.*bonus, the server recognized my Kill Your Idols back patch.
Oh, the potatoes!. My husband and I are in Frederick for a conference, and we had lunch at AKA Friscos today. When we said we’d never been there before, they gave us a sample of the exploded potatoes. Oh my. Soooo tasty. I opted to get the flat iron steak potato on the exploded potatoes (instead of on a baked potato), and it was really good. My husband had the Lombard sandwich and a side of mac and cheese, and those were both good as well. We would definitely come back here if we are ever in the area again.
Stopped in while in town for the day and it was a great discovery!! Had the Presidio with soup of the day and both were delicious. Definitely try the exploded potatoes- they are very generous with samples!
Great lunch. I continue to forget about this place because its off the beaten path for me. Every time I go though, I kick myself for waiting so long. The exploded potatoes are great. I also get the wings from time to time which are great. Really nice rub on them and a great sauce on the side. No complaints.
Great Food. Been to Frisco’s a dozen times, had a dozen different sandwiches, ALL have been fantastic. The Exploded Potatoes are the best side dish anywhere. Service is great.Get there early for lunch, it get really busy!
GREAT FOOD GREAT SERVICE. Both the food and service is GREAT. You can’t go wrong with anything they make. YOu get your food quick and you get ALOT of it!!!
