Good food, enjoyed our handhelds but made us wait for tables when several were open. A pet peeve. Live music was awesome but very loud. No conversation during set. Had a great cranberry cider with meal and service was exceptional. Bar food with a twist.
Food okay; beer okay. Jenna(?) bartendress on 10/4 was more interested in counting tips, eating her dinner at the bar and visiting with friends than finishing off pulling my stout. Totally ignored. Brewer’s Alley is more customer friendly. Jenna(?), please read this to understand your meager tip

Used to like it before they decided to throw out all their tea party craziness during elections. No bigger appetite killer than spewing your political affiliations in the face of your customers. Not a great business move on their part. Too bad this seems to be becoming the norm for some our more right leaning neighbors!
My.family and I began eating at B&H’s soon after they opened. The menu was more diverse than many of the other restaurants in town, but it was the daily specials that were outstanding. When we moved away about 6 years ago, B&H was one of the places we mIssed most. This past July, we returned to visit some old friends and neighbors while on vacation and couldn’t resist stopping at B&H for lunch. Unlike most fond memmories that can’t be relived, Barley & Hops easily lived up to our past wxperiences. The service was polite and attentive, the beer brewed in-house was still excellent and the food outstanding. Highly recommended.
Been there a few times over the years and still don’t like it. The food isn’t great. Maybe they should just stick with making beer.
Good food and versatile menu. Burgers are always tasty and usually upbeat and personable service.
