Friendly, but. The hosts and servers are glad to see us. (We recently moved to Frederick.) Hamburgers, etc. are the standard fare. On my first visit I got fish and chips. Mistake. The fish are obviously pre-breaded and cooked from frozen. I wasn’t happy about this, especially as there are several more-or-less authentic British or Scotch pubs downtown. But on my recent visit I enjoyed the hamburger, cooked medium. The curly fries were wonderful. My wife enjoyed her salad, too.I was told that they don’t have draft beer, so I settle for a bottled Sam Adams. Actually two, as a reward for spending the entire day at the Motor Vehicle Administration and would have to return the next day.
