Why would you…?. Why on earth would ANYONE choose Olive Garden (faaaaar from authentic, and faaaaar from good) when there are a few other really great choices in/around Frederick??Mamma Lucia’s is 100000000x better on its worst day.Also, as an Italian, I find Olive Garden to be gimmicky, unauthentic, tired, and just not worth the assault to my tastebuds.
I’ve never understood the hype. This place is just another chain, and nothing here feels authentic. The food seems lackluster as well, and the corporate desperation to gain customers by offering one meal, and another to take home…just seems creepy and desperate!
Best for Lunch. This is the place to go when you have time for lunch and have a good appetite. We always get the soup, salad and breadsticks lunch…delish. We order a cheese dipping sauce on the side for the breadsticks, too. The service is inconsistent, but the food is always good.
Just another franchise. I would never wait to eat here though and can’t understand why there is always a line. They only care about moving the customers in and out within and hour. Should be fast food!
