My go-to spot!. I love this place! This is where my husband and I go to have a quiet lunch or dinner with a great view and even a fireplace. Their food is consistently good and always fresh and the service has always been excellent! Their french onion soup is a fave – classically, perfectly done. Recently I’ve enjoyed a wonderful braised beef wrap with black beans and a smoked gouda sauce. (It was a lunch special.) The beef was unbelievably juicy, tender and flavorful – complemented but not at all overwhelmed by the rest of the ingredients. And I know this is not to everyone’s taste but I also recently had their liver and onions garnished with thick pieces of bacon and a side of fresh brussel sprouts. Fantastic. I highly recommend this hidden treat!
Wonderful setting on the golf course.. Schroyer’s Tavern is in the beautiful clubhouse at Maryland National Golf Course. Gorgeous views of the course, large stone fireplace and a wrap-around patio. Very nice selection on the menu with some upscale dishes and some standards like burgers. Full bar and a friendly staff. Dining can take a little longer here, but it’s a nice place just to relax.
