Lucie at Cakes to Die for was fantastic. On a whim, my sister and I stopped by the shop on the morning of the Clustered Spires High Wheel Race and she took the time to talk with us about our cake ideas. We had looked at several other cake vendors in the Frederick area, but after meeting with Lucie, we knew that we wanted a cake from Cakes to Die For. She helped us transform several photos of cakes we liked into the PERFECT cake and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. She even called the day before the event to review the order and the delivery details. When we arrived at the venue on the day of the event, Lucie was there placing our flowers on the FABULOUS cupcakes and cake. I couldn’t have been more happy with her work. We had a tier of marble, tier of hummingbird, and tier of chocolate, along with red velvet cupcakes. All were delicious and many people came back for seconds…and thirds! While setting up the cake, Lucie overheard that we had left the sangria for the event at home, over 20 minutes away. She offered to go pick it up for us and bring it back to the event!!! I highly recommend Cakes to Die For for any event and am very impressed by their attention to detail and commitment to customer service. Amazing job, we will be back!
