Great food and service. The restaurant is a surprise in a very basic strip mall; nicely decorated, India dcor but not over the top, very helpful and friendly wait staff, and everything four of us ordered was great: Starting with wonderful appetizersSamosas and paneer pakora (cheese fritters) and four main dishes that we all loved: three vegetarian–Paneeer-tikka-masala, yellow-daal-tadka, and malai-palakk-paneerand one wonderful lamb dish. We will definitely go back.
Outstanding. One of the best meals in Frederick.. I was fully impressed with the buffet and the quality of food. Fantastic sauces and great entrees made this one of the best Indian experiences I’ve ever had. Only a couple of places in London seem to be superior, but this place would take on any Seattle or San Francisco Indian joints that would cost 3 times as much any day of the week. I’ll be back.
Homely Food. First when I came here.. with the help of the reviews.. I thought like..whether it would be good or bad but when I had tasted the first spoon of Lamb Biriyani..it was awesome and delicious..What i found interesting is that the food would be prepared according to our wish like if we wanna have it spicy ya it will and no spicy and that too can be done.. ON THE WHOLE ITS A USER / CUSTOMER FRIENDLY LIKE IPHONE HERE IN USA…SO .. dont miss this food if you want to have a delicious and fantastic food…I regularly came here during my stay and had good food and fun…. 🙂 These guys do the great hospitality!!! WORTH COMING HERE!!! SO TASTE THE FOOD AS SOON AS YOU CAN….
Cant wait to try their buffet!. Very enjoyable dining experience, absolutely love the tablecloths! The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable, and helpful with selections. We tried the Veg Pakora and Samosa appetizers, both full of flavor and loved the sauces. The Paneer Tikka Masala and Goani Fish Curry were also very good.
Changes Made a World of Difference!. Since new ownership, this place is so much better. A cleaner, brighter, tastier experience than before. The buffet is full of variety – lots of great vegetarian dishes, the entrees are well-proportioned, and all foods are artfully spiced. Best I’ve found in Frederick.
Outstanding buffet with several dishes you don’t traditionally see. The decor is light and contemporary. Service attentive. Easily one of the best Indian restaurants in the region.
Best Indian Restaurant Outside the Beltway, and the ones inside are not true INDIAN restaurants anyways…. I am a food buff and when I heard about this intriguing new restaurant by the name of Delhi 6 that basically is a ZIP code for an Old Delhi area, I became very interested in paying a visit. It was a bit hard to convince my family for a long 50 miles drive from Sterling to Fredrick especially as the sun was beating down at 100 degree and relentless humidity made the air thick as hot soup. But in the end I am glad we took the trip, the restaurant is quite a surprise, a very welcoming decor, nice layout, mural of old Delhi’s famous Red Fort took me down the memory lane and the aroma of the food made it even better. The staff gave us a very nice warm welcome, paid personal attention to the guests, and interacted very well. The Food was top notch, some of the dishes were brand new, like the Zuccini Masala, ummm good and the malai methi matar, awesome…! The Hyderabadi biryani was way up there, the best that I have ever eaten at an Indian restaurant in town, and the naans and bhaturas were fresh, baked right there… All in all a great experience, worth the 100 miles round trip that I took last weekend, the whole family can’t wait for round two.
