Won’t take their own coupon from their own website. Followed the link to their website menu. Started to place an order, had a question about their spring roll( yes it is two even though it says roll) he said I could just go ahead and give him my order, which I did. I told him I had a $2 off coupon from his website. He told me he doesn’t know anything about their site. Went to pick up and was told they wouldn’t take their coupon off because I didn’t order from the web and he just works there.Mediocre food, kind of pricey, rude order person. I ordered the combination fried rice, 2 spring rolls, and friend got 2spring rolls and Singapore rice noodle. Total was $26 and he liked his.Lots of other places to order from. Don’t bother using the web order or coupons.
The BEST Chinese restaurant in Frederick for many reasons…. I love Chinese food, however, being able to find great Chinese food is not easy. I live in Gettysburg, work in Maryland and eat out a lot. Always looking for really delicious food in a place that makes me feel very comfortable. Hunan Gourmet definitely has earned my 5 stars, it deserves more than 5 stars. For starters, it is quite easy to get to, 7th Street exit right off of Route 15. The decor is pleasant and well done. The restaurant is clean with ample seating and comfortable booths. The service is friendly and the prices are very reasonable, but what I appreciate most is their food. You get both here, quality and quantity. Their menu offers numerous choices of different Chinese cuisines. I love hot and spicy food and always request their chef to make it extra hot which he does perfectly. The portions are large and the ingredients are so fresh and flavorful. Their food is amazing. I highly recommend this place and visit it every time I am in Frederick.

Great General Tso’s Chicken, Lo Mein, and extensive vegetarian choices. Hot and Sour soup is vegetarian and they have shrimp or vegetable spring rolls.
