Amazingly good but pricy. There’s no doubt the food is excellent. I love garlic and anything dipped or cooked in olive oil. This place is a gem in Frederick. The only thing you have to watch is that if you happen to go with a large group, watch what you are ordering. it’s hard to keep track of your orders because you are ordering so many of them. Don’t be shocked when the bill arrives and its $500 and can’t account for what everyone has ordered. Notwithstanding, its a wonderful place.
Stopped by here quick, friendly bartender who I chatted with while waiting 5-10 minutes for my tapa, Peruvian chicken skewers that were a delight, got a taste of my people’s food!
Has gone a long way in the wrong direction. Had been a while since we were there to eat and the portions have gone way down and prices up. Not sure how a tapas serving of 3 is even an option, how many tables of 3 are ever at a restaurant. Not sure what happened as this used to be a go to place to go for a nice evening. Between the ridiculous portions and terrible sangria, I know its not supposed to be good wine but come on it has to be drinkable, I don’t see a reason to go back. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
Montado de Lomo was fantastic! I will be wishing I lived nearby when I crave it
Food was adventurous and fun. Nice flavors, great variety. The service was friendly and professional. Definitely worth coming back. Nice ambiance
Overpriced for the portion size… Even for tapas… Ordered the hummus and got 2 Tablespoons and 2 pita wedges for $6. The calamari was worth the price as was the sangria. The service was okay and the mussels mediocre.. While the broth was great the mussels were tiny and the flavor was totally masked… For the price, this place is a no-go… It cost almost $50 for 2… We wouldn’t have paid more than $25 for what we got.. And we are very familiar with tapas places.
Average tapas bar. Nothing special. We prefer the extra drive to Rockville’s La Tasca.
