I was raised traditionally, with homemade pasta and knowing the difference between a marinara and a ragout and how to make a quick and easy cannoliMamma Lucia was a surprise… I figured they’d be just like Olive Garden (barf)Thankfully, not. The Fettuccine Bolognese is my personal favorite… Though me and mine have pretty much demolished everything on the menu, with great gusto and full bellies.
Expensive for pizza but excellent. Very good Italian food for a sit-down dinner. Excellent pizza, although it is expensive considering it’s just, you know, pizza. Always busy, staff are bustling and cheerful. Wish I went there more often.
Family Style Italian Restaurant. This is a place I’ve been going to since it first opened. I love their pizzas (we always get one with sausage and mushrooms), their seafood salad, and their pastas. One of my favorite pasta dishes is the Salsicce alla napoletana. It’s penne with Italian sausage in a light marinara sauce. Their portions are ample and I typycially bring home leftovers.Recently I went with a friend and she ordered the salad with the steak on top. Huge salad!Prices are reasonable, although I did notice their prices have gone up a buck or so since they first opened. It’s not big difference, especially since their prices are on par with other Italian restuarants in the area.Great place for families. Very good service too from the staff.Highly recommended!
