Great little authentic Cuban spot. Had the grilled snapper with black beans and rice, with the plantains- all were delicious, fresh fish with great Cuban flair. Also tried the grilled flank steak.The highlight for me was the blueberry mojito and the empanadas de Pollo which came with a wonderfully flavorful sauce which I believe was a tomatillo salsa- fresh ingredients, made from scratch meals.
Very good meal and service. The pork leg and rice was great. Will be back.
Good food but the service took forever. We had 8 for lunch – granted, a lot of people, but we were the only ones in the restaurant.
My wife and rarely take the time to go out for a proper date night… So it took us months to find the time to make the 70 minute pilgrimage to Sabor de Cuba. We can’t stop raving about how warm and inviting the energy was…from the guests to the staff to the owners who made it feel like we were at friends house. The food was AMAZING and prices required a double take when we got the bill we actually asked if it was a mistake because it was so low. We cannot wait to go back and try the few things on the menu we didn’t load up on last night. A+ !
Pretty classic Cuban food Fast service. Good portions but Cuban food IS plainPork was crisp and tasty with generous amount sliced thin. Plaintains perfect. And rice & beans as expected
Favorite restaurant. Ever. I’ve eaten half of the menu and everything is super delicious, the meats are always tender and savory, every thing has tons if flavor. Plus, the staff is really friendly. I always have an awesome meal here!
Good Restaurant. After reading the mostly negative reviews posted for Sabor de Cuba, I was hesitant to go there, but my wife talked me into it and I am glad she did. We had a marvelous dining experience. Carlos, our waiter, provided prompt service and was helpful with suggestions. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. The Mojitos were very good and the flan for dessert – yummy!
