Excellent Mexican food – large portions, great tacos, amazing cheese dip and salsa. I am sure to stop here again! The place in Frostburg looks a little shady on the outside but rest assured, it is clean and cozy on the inside. Don’t miss this chance for great Mexican the next time you are in Frostburg.
I always make a point to stop here while in the area on travel. The best queso dip I’ve ever had. I Usually get the tacos, which have perfectly seasoned ground beef. Usually a good amount of patrons and college crowds as well as families. Decent tequila selection. Fun atmosphere.
Best Mexican in Cumberland. The choice of Mexican restaurants is limited in Cumberland; however, that doesn’t take away from the exceptional cuisine that is offered by El Canelo. I eat here often and have never been dissappointed. My regular is the El Paso special. The chili releno is great also.

Good times. Always a good time to be had at the Cumberland El Canelo. Food is always good, though at times, the waitstaff have difficulty understanding what it is you are trying to say. Antonio (waitor) is very good. Is also a hottie, though refused to wait on a table of Lesbians………not cool!! Otherwise great place to hang out, eat, drink, and be merry.
IT’S ALL GOOD!. What’s not to like about this place? Fast service, best salsa in the world, hot delicious food – no matter what you order.
