Always a hit!. I’ve been going to El Canelo for years now, and I’ve never been disappointed. Reasonably priced, large portions, friendly people, and always good food!! Service is usually pretty quick too.
Poor service & mediocre food…. We stopped here for our first and last time for lunch today, 9/2/12. The waiter was nice, but he dropped off our drinks and food – and then never came back to refill drinks, ask if we needed anything, or even bring the check. We overheard a waitress telling another table of customers that she had partied a lot the night before for her birthday and was’t supposed to work today. She said two of the staff members had not shown up, so she had been called in by her brother. Well, excuse me but these are management issues and of no concern to customers. After never receiving our bill, we had to finaly walk up to the cash register and ask to pay it. We were asked what we had gotten, the prices were put in higher than stated on the menu, and I left a $2 on a $16 lunch check for two people, which was $2 more than they deserved. I can’t recommend this place at all.
