Sub standard quality. I bought the cake through groupon, when I got it, it was sub standard than the normal cake, the one in the showcase it has lots of fruits and looks delicious, however the cake that I got has half amounts of fruits, dry and burned.
Customer. Our first experience with Classic Bakery was 2.5 years ago when we ordered our dauther’s graduation cake. It wasn’t cheap but, oh man, was it tasty and looked perfect!!! Our guests were talking about the cake long after the party. Now we visit them at least 2-3 times a year. We have never been disappointed. Great place and everything they make is delicious!
Love it!. I recently moved into the DC area and have been looking for the past two months for a great bakery. My curiosity brought me to Gaithersburg where I found Classic Bakery tucked away in a shopping center. I was glad i made the trip from northern VA because ever since I left San Francisco, I couldn’t find a full service bakery like Classic. This place has it all, and will do it all. I am now a loyal customer of this bakery. They will even ship their assorted cookies anywhere, so I had them send a box to my family in CA. Thumbs Up!
OK Bakery. I did not dislike it but was nothing memorable. Do not think I will be going back.
Awesome Gelato!. Coming from Italy, finding an authentic cafe producing Italian style Gelato is very rare. Classic Bakery has the best Italian Gelato in the area. Coupled with their great tasting unique pastries and cookies, this place is definately the best bakery in the area.
The Wedding Cake Capital!. Purchased our wedding cake from Classic Bakery. Not only did the cake turn out absolutely perfect, it was the talk of the night by our guests. Also had Classic cater our event, and the cookies were absolutely delicious and ever so fresh. Definitely recommended for the occasional sweet tooth!
Best DC Area Bakery by far!!. This is the place to be if you’re a bakery connoisseur. Great tasting authentic desserts, wonderfully decorated cakes, and a staff that treats people like their own. A+++++
