Great bar area. All the Dogfish beers are on tap. Pizza is highly recommended.
Food and service is slowly going down. Waited 8 minutes for a hello then 4 more to get my beer with only 6 people in bar. Last time place was busy but bartender was too busy to stop talking beer. Alehouse-tastic!. On this late summer day about half way through happy hour, life was good. Though the happy hour discount was only $1 off appetizers and pizzas. Still the quality of the food was excellent. The alehouse decor makes the place seem more friendly, but on a really crowded day with a live band, I could imagine the noise getting difficult to overcome for conversation. The Pumpkin Ale was recommended and it did not disappoint. Bring some extra cash for a shirt and grab a few coasters on the way out.
Different to the Rehoboth Beach DHA!. I was at the Rehoboth Beach location earlier this year, and the menu is definitely different here in Gaithersburg, though the food was just as good.Burgers were tasty, the wings were pleasantly spiced, and the reuben had a generous helping of sauerkraut.And the beer, as always, is fabulous.
Love it! best beer! bitches brew and punkin ale are amazing…one suggestion…more app type food goes better with beer …but love it here!
Best beer in town. Get 120 if you can. Can’t go wrong with their 75.
