  • Dan M is a schmuck who is clueless about high gravity or high alcohol content beer. Gonna cost more for many reasons... Hilarious and not missed…

  • Sorry. Went for a beer and a growler refill. Cost me 40$. Refill was 27.50. Please understand I did not buy a growler. This was the price of a refill.…

I keep trying to like this place but not happening. Service is great with Thomas but others spend more time talking than serving.Food is average at best. Many times it like they order and get delivered. Beer is better but still not consistent. Batch to batch.

Good mix of regular and seasonal beers. The food is very well-executed and all your brewpub favorites are there. Multi-level but handicap accessible via elevator (ask for assistance).

Going To Growlers?. If you go to Growlers expecting great food, and great service, at a great price…you will be EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. However, Growlers is a nice place to grab a craft beer at happy hour…if you can find a place to sit.At night they host bands in the upstairs portion of the building, but it is always overcrowded with loud drunken college dropout types.Over all, I walk away feeling this place is Mediocre at best. Dogfish Head Alehouse might be a better choice.

Dissapointed. We ended up upstairs for some beers last nite due to the downstairs bar being too busy to sit. Granted the crowd was a bit young up there, but we were happy to sit at the bar and talk. The bartenders (4) (except one girl working the other side of the bar) were terrible. It was hard to even get another beer in the place, much less the check at the end of the nite. I was in the restaurant business for many years and have never not tipped. But sorry in this case I just couldn’t.

Food is average at best. Their brat isn’t even a brat. The BLT had 2 pieces of bacon in it. However, I had someone with me that enjoyed the fish and chips.

Excellent Place. I dont really go to growlers for the bands. While I am sure they are great, I go to growlers for pints and burgers. Sometimes the service can be a bit slow but really it just gives you a chance to enjoy your pint and your company for a little while longer. Truely a great place.

I must say nothing compares to going to a restaurant like Growlers. Food out of sight , Local flavor color and history , Beer that can indulge the casual beer enthusiast to beer nuts.
