Dosen’t get customer service. As much as I want this close eatery to be good as its near my home the third try was not a charm. Service was slow for us and fast for those the owner seemed to know. Friends told me I should give them another try based on the specialties. The order was 25 minutes in coming while other late arriving tables with similar food were served rapidly. The Singapore fried rice was rough as if the curry was added in a powder form to the rice instead as a sauce; the rice was soggy. The Meatball stew was very good as were the potstickers. The whole experience was marred by the lack of attention to customer service including by the owner who stood by the cash register the entire time speaking only to friends. I finally asked the owner to look into our order and he told me it took time and would refry the rice. The meatball came about ten minutes later the rice was reheated and still dull. The table of four behind us got tired of waiting while the owners friends we served and they walked out. How much business can a restaurant afford to lose? In this economy, none. I rarely write a negative review because I know how hard restaurants have to work to get a good reputation. The trouble is this owner doesn’t get the customer service for EVERY CUSTOMER.

Pacifica Cafe. Great food! Try the seaweed infused fishI am a very picky eater and tried this from my friends’s plate. It is now one of my favorites.Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Very clean restaurant. My children enjoy going here. They do have one very large circular table that will serve a big group.

Great dim sum. I’ve only been there for dim sum. So far I really enjoy the rice ball (fan thuan, for you mandarin people), the scallion pancake is very good, and the pork bun with roast pork, can’t remember exactly the name, my husband likes that a lot. There was also a fish dish with black bean sauce that was yummy, it tasted very cantonese, with the green peppers and black bean sauce.I have to try the dinner there and see how it is, will keep y’all posted.
