A real restaurant, not a cafeteria. With tables and waiters and space to relax and everything. Like a breath of fresh air after some of the other local choices.
We come here several times a year. Always enjoy the show and the steaks are good quality. They give you noodles as well as rice unlike some other hibachi places.
Terrible experience here! We had been to Ziki once before and had not been impressed. First the restaurant is not the cleanest of places. Next, we were shorted on entree. There were three in my party we all ordered steak so did 2 others sitting at the hibachi. When the chef came out he had only 4 steaks for 5 orders. We chose not to make a fuss, we should have. The food was okay, not great. We vowed never to go back.Fast forward to last weekend. We had a craving for hibachi and decided to give Ziki another try. We arrived for our reserved time a little early, the place was packed but we were seated immediately. We were seated at a table that had already ordered their meal and were already eating their salad and soup. I thought that was odd. Our waitress came over and asked for our drink and dinner order, we told her we wanted our drinks and had not decided what we wanted yet. She took our drink order and five minutes later came back and asked if we were ready to order our dinner. Again we said we wanted our drinks first, we wanted a minute to sit and have a sip of our cocktails and not be rushed. Again she disappeared. When she finally came back with our drinks she said to us you have your drinks now can I have your order you are holding the table up. Our point is that we should not have been seated at a table already well into their hibachi experience. We got up to speak to the manager about seating us at a table where we could order our meal and not have to worry about bolting it down so we didn’t hold up everyone else. Manager told us tough. So we left never ever to return!! We ended up in Olney at Sakura, which was fantastic!!!It’s s shame they have such great reviews, I don’t see it.
Good food, good show, and great drinks all at a fair price. Took kids and dad for New Years Eve dinner and had a wonderful time. Service was good too. Will keep this restaurant on my short list of where to go.
Food is very basic. Greasy noodles, steak was like cow meat, bland sauces, stock vegetables. Poor service. Overall very ordinary.
My wife and I ate here for two anniversaries. Our picture is on wall twice. Fantastic place and fantastic food.
A great, fun restaurant for all ages. The hibachi food is about as good as it can get and not only are you eating great food but the cook (who cooks right in front of you) entertains you with tricks and fire as you eat. A definate thumbs up!
