New Chef …Treat Your Taste Buds Jan.2014. Molly Mason’s food preparation is upscale. Their seafood is the best I’ve eaten on the Upper Eastern Shore. I’ve eaten at Molly Mason’s 8 times (with friends) since they changed to their new menu ( Sept.2014) and we all agree food and service were top notch. The staff is always courteous and pleasant. We all thoroughly enjoyed our Lunches and Dinners. You will not be disappointed with their Crab cakes, just what a good Maryland crab cake should be. Incredible !! The Salmon: excellently prepared, moist and flavorful and beautifully presented. Duck confit is served with a wonderful sauce to compliment the duck’s crispy skin. Delicious! They also have a nice steak on the menu, and Rockfish when in season.A food tasting with Chef Matt will provide you with a unique opportunity to experience a culinary adventure! He is always willing and eager to answer any questions you may have. They still offer an array of Hamburgers, sandwiches, crabcake sandwiches, salads, meatloaf, soups etc. The full menu is reasonably priced.They have done away with the noisy open kitchen. Molly Mason’s has outside seating for nice weather.

Disappointing. The best part of the meal was the crab pretzel app. However, the crab lasagna and steak/shrimp skewer entrees were tasteless and overpriced. Our server was not friendly and did not time the food correctly as our entrees came out five minutes after the appetizer. The venue itself is nice and I can only hope the service and food improve over time.
Food quality is poor and taste is inconsistent. They have a great menu and very friendly service, but they use low grade ingredients and you can tell. Nice wine list and cocktail selection, though.
