The mission of Mission BBQ brought us all the way across town for their food. We were greeted once we walked in and the counter staff was friendly. The roaming waiters/busboys were also very nice and helpful. There is less seating inside than I expected but it was comfortable and well lit. I was disappointed that they only had plastic utensils and nowhere to recycle them or the glass bottles from drinks. So, now the food. We got the half chicken, 10 bones of ribs, Mac and cheese and green beans. The ribs were fall off the bone, but dry as heck. The chicken was good and actually the most tender white met I had ever had. The Mac and cheese was slightly above average and the beans were tasty but WAY too much salt and pepper. There was a selection of 6 various bbq sauces on the table and most were very yummy. Overall, I would recommend it, but we won’t be back.
