My first time going to Papa Gil’s was for my birthday in April ’13. I ordered the Seafood Alfredo. My boyfriend ordered the Shrimp & Crab Tortellini. The food & service was EXCELLENT!! I work & live so close and am a regular customer. My favorite dish: Mozzarella Caprese w/ Balsamic Vinegarette. The guy at the register knows me by just that dish. I’ve never went once (Day, Night, or Evening) & received bad service or food. Hands down my favorite place to eat..
They have really good food but TERRIBLE service. THE MANAGEMENT IS RUDE. I went there and my food was made wrong, the giy behind the cashier apologized and offered to remake it, which caused me to wait another 20 minutes. The owner sat and watched me while I was sitting in the restaurant annoyed. He never apologized or even offered to compensate me for my time and the restaurant’s mistake. I really enjoyed papa gils food but will never go there again because they dont value their customers.
Just love this restaurant!. My hubby and I have only gotten carryout from the restaurant the last few months (since their recent change in management). It is for that reason that I wonder whether some of the poor reviews reflect the past management.Everything that we have ordered, and we have tried several different menu items, has been wonderful. In fact, it has been hard to find anything that has been ordered that we have not liked. That is really the problem, there are not enough days to order all that we have come to appreciate.We especially like the spicy marinara sauce (Fra Diavolo) and always have the restaurant change the regular tomato sauce for that. We’ve done it for sub and main entree items and it always makes the item that much more fabulous.Some of our favorite dishes are Shrimp Fra Diavolo, Stuffed Shrimp, Eggplant Parmesan, and Shrimp Parmesan Sub.

Rude rude rude. The service is terrible. Food was late, it was delivered to the wrong address and then they wanted to blame me. Like I don’t know where I live. After waiting for 1hr and a half, I still wanted the order but I wanted it re cooked. Excuse me for not wanting cold greasy soggy food. But I asked for too much and was treated like I was a pain in the butt. A discount or free food won’t ever lure me back.
Bad food bad service. For my first time eating at this place and order online the service was very polite on the phone, but the order was wrong and the pizza buuuuuuuuuuuuunt. i would not have sent that pizza out at all. the person there even said that it was left in the oven tooooooo long. So why did they send it out for carry out. THEY DID NOT CARE ABOUT THE PERSONS ORDERING THE FOOD. i will nooooooooot be ordering from this place again.
I love this place! I don’t understand other peoples’ comments. Everyone was so friendly and I looooved the food. Pretty place inside too!
