Excellent restaurant for BBQ items and sides. There are seats for in house dining but much of their business is carryout. There is also a sister location in downtown Frederick, MD.
Good BBQ. They don’t have baby back ribs but their ribs are okay. The BBQ chicken is very good. They also have a good selection of sides, get the Mac n’ Cheese.
We have been here only once, but tried several things on the menu. wouldn’t include it in my top 5 BBQ places and not in my top 10 restaurants.
Black Hog is one of my friends and family’s favorite eatery. The food is always flavorful and plentiful. My favorite is the ham and potato salad. The chili is spicy, but hearty.
In the area for golf and tried this place for dinner – perfect local joint for BarBQ. Will return. nice happy hour.
