Tasty fajitas, fast service, cold beer. Excellent!
Good Burrito, Big Beer. This was my first visit, so I don’t have a lot of feedback yet. The Burrito Deluxe was about average for a Mexican restaurant burrito. I’d order it again, but I wouldn’t make a special trip for it. It doesn’t come with rice or refried beans, as I would have expected for an entree. But I did ask for jalapeno peppers, and the waiter brought a small plate covered with jalapeno. Not the bottled/pickled type, but freshly sliced raw jalapeno. For me, that’s a big plus. Utensils would have been a plus too, since burritos are not finger food, but that was remedied quickly. I ordered a large beer, and it was LARGE. One mug took me through the meal. The salsa was typical…fairly mild, tasted OK. For dessert I had the flan, which was excellent. It was clearly made at the restaurant, not trucked in. Halfway through, I noticed they had served the flan on a coffee cup saucer, not a small serving plate…not a Mexican tradition as far as I know…but it was delicious flan and they can serve it on anything, if they keep up that quality.All in all, I’d go back again and see how their other entrees stand up.
