Number 1. You certainly can’t go wrong with LJ’s. Everything is always spectacular. The service is always amazing. We have never had to wait for anything, everything is always timed out perfectly. I enjoy the fact that the kitchen is open and you can see what is happening and also watch the interaction between the owner, chef and cook staff. I’ve always been extremely impressed with their menu items and have tried many different things. The french menu is always my favorite, however, i’m looking forward to trying the Mediterranean menu that will be beginning soon. Their wine list is wonderful in the little wooden box the cards come in and a great way to change things up a little. I always enjoy a cocktail and then a glass of something delicious! You can always ask your server for a recommendation from the menu on the food and they always recommend something amazing. I almost always ask for a recommendation, but I do have my select favorites. Also, you can’t beat the lounge special. On the weekends they have a lounge special, a specific food (i.e. the burger, fish and chips, etc.) and a glass of wine or a beer for $10. You can’t beat that. I know a lot of people complain about the portion sizes…well, I’ve never been dissatisfied with the portions on my plate. We don’t have much money to spend but the moment we have a little extra my husband and I will absolutely splurge on LJ’s whenever we can!! Can’t wait to go back next month!
