This place used to be SO good and then it just went downhill. the waitresses are rude, the cooks don’t listen to your order, the sushi is not fresh, nothing is worth the price…even their yum yum sauce is terrible and I am NOT one to knock yum yum sauce!!! this place is absolutely terrible now, I’ll stick to Sakura.
Simply Wonderful!. A friend and I were in Hagerstown on an errand one day and decided to pick a restaurant at random, and stopped in here on a whim. I studied abroad in Japan last year and love the food – she’s a huge fan of hibachi. It worked out!We had lunch – the lunch specials are affordable for the amount of food you get. While my friend got the hibachi lunch (usual fare) I went with a Teriyaki Shrimp Bento box (Lunch Box). The food was wonderful! It was quite big — a salad, steamed rice, a few pickled veggies, seaweed, shrimp and onions, 3 gyoza and some orange slices. Everything was presented wonderfully. My only complaint is the gyoza — definitely too crunchy and small for a gyoza. While this shows they are made in-house, they weren’t to my taste.Overall it was great though! I’ll return sometime to try the sushi bar.

Wonderful!. Nikko’s is an amazing Japanese restaurant that not many may know about. Whether you enjoy sushi or hibachi, they provide both excellent food and service for both. Their sushi chefs provide friendly service with fairly priced, delicious treats (on and off menu). The hibachi chefs are full of energy and put on a great show, interacting with everyone at their station. The atmosphere is a classy Asian motif, that is only matched by the staff itself. If you have not tried Nikko’s yet, please do yourself a favor and stop by. If you’ve already visited, then I’m sure, like myself, you’ll be returning shortly!
Best Sushi Around!. Ths sushi is 1st rate; just delicious. I love the cali cream maki, French maki, spider roll etc. All high quality fish great tasting. The hibachi is also good if I can tear myself away from the sushi bar. The restaurant itself is lovely with highly polished wood floors and beautiful decor. Very clean. The wait staff is very friendly as are the sushi chefs. All in all, an excellent dining experience.
