Why so long,. I will never order from them again. They forgot to deliver my would chicken and took forever to return. Waited three hours for a complete meal. The delivery person even had the nerve to make me his last stop because he had other deliveries. Never again.
Stop in for Lunch on Saturdays. The food and atmosphere was friendly. Really enjoyed the black beans and rice. Will definitely be back to try another meal.Authenticity is always a pleasant surprise. Going to try sopas and funnel cakes next time….
This restaurant is a real find. It looks like a dive on the outside, but the food was excellent and moderately priced. Our meals — the chicken platter and steak fajitas – were fresh and attractively presented. Large portions and nicely seasoned. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This place really surprised and pleased us.

Cactus Silvestre: fresh tex mex Grill near Umbc (5315 east dr, halethorpe,md 21227 ) phone:410 242 4840 carry out & DeliveryI’m astonished to find a place like this in Arbutus – and believe me, I don’t mean that in any sort of snobby way, just don’t think of this as an area with little family-owned ethnic places – but it’s terrific. Tiny (eigh tables, I think), food made to order, lengthy menu for such a small place, reasonable prices. More mainstream Tex-Mex than El Nayar, but definitely not corporate Tex-Mex. Our daughter had a grilled chicken burrito, easily as large as Chipotle or Qdoba serve, but with much more chicken and less rice and beans (cheap filler) than either of those places. Fresh, hot, flavorful. Small selection of Jarritos sodas and Mexican coke, along with standard American drinks. Bargain alert: ground beef and (I think) chicken tacos are only 99 cents on Tuesdays. I got two hard and two soft tacos for $4 and was happy. Tacos came with a small cup of a homemade green salsa; a couple of bottled hot sauces were on the tables. Very friendly employees.
