(8/27/2016) Was a hot sunny day and we were touring historic Havre de Grace. Homemade ice cream hit the spot. Family-friendly, lots of flavors, classic and some interesting (but not too weird) combos. Got the Raspberry Truffle (dark purple, like a black raspberry), friends had Vanilla and Red Raspberry Oreo (tasted and looked like pale pink strawberry to me). Ice cream was creamy, not icy, very dense (which I like), subtle fruit flavors, not too sweet. I thought it was really very good. Only mar was the blob of glue on my waffle cone from the paper covering. Single scoop was $4.50, touch high, but I’m willing to pay for the quality. Kids working the scoop side of things were kids, a little harried, a little flaky, but did all right.
