Delicious. I had the soft-shell crab, which is somewhat of a local seasonal specialty, and it was cooked perfectly. It was piled with lump crab meat. They also have a surprisingly good beer selection, considering they advertise themselves as a wine bar. Its a bit of a trendy place, and the portions are not huge, however I did not leave hungry and the flavors were all spot-on.
Best casual dining experience ever! The chef is truly a master of his trade, and the service is extraordinary! ask for Alyssa – she’s so sweet. Example of the culinary artistry: It’s so easy to overuse blue cheese, especially when it’s in the name of a dish, but the chef knows exactly how to balance all ingredients and spices to create an amazing explosion of flavor in every bite. There aren’t a whole lot of vegetarian options on the menu, but they’re super accommodating if you want to go meatless.
LOVE THIS GEM!. Came here because of the buzz on the streets (as we are new to the general area). People all the way from Bel Air kept recommending this place, so we decided to give it a try. We are glad we did! Our server Martina was awesome very attentive and kind. The food was amazing…Shrimp and Grits (flavor packed), Asian Dumplings, and the fresh steamed seafood they apparently serve every Thursday was awesome (fresh flavor). Actually the entire staff seemed to be very engaged to what was going on around them. I dropped my fork and a server brought me a new one before I could even pick it up off the floor. The cocktails were very creative, and they have a Beer Lovers beer menu! Only place where I have been recently that sent the manager over because it was our first time (nice touch). Listen to the words on the street this place is hot!
SERVICE is getting worse!!. I will keep this very simple. The service was horrible last night. I was able to get a table for 5 people and we were waiting. The hostesses did not let us know that the table was done, because I had to keep coming back and asking them if it was done. Finally, the table was ready. After 10 minutes the waitress came by and said she would be right with us. She came back 5 minutes later and took our orders. We knew that the service was lousy, so we ordered our drinks and food. It took about another 10-15 minutes for our drinks to come out, but she was missing a mixed drink for my wife. 10 minutes later, I had to ask the waitress where my wife’s drink was and she said is coming back up. She did not bring us out any water with our drinks, so we had to ask for them. 20 minutes later, the food comes out. We asked for the bill and then she gave us the bill with everything together. If you have multiple couples, why would you put everyone’s tabs together. The funniest part is that she asked us before hand if it was going to be separate bills and we said yes. 2nd time that we ate here and the service is horrible. The bar service is different. The bartenders are great and bipolar opposite from the servers.
Really like it :o) highly recommend, I had the samon & it was delicious, service was great, music was a little loud on a Sat. so I sat in the other room & had a really enjoyable dinner
Very Good Food. My husband and I took some visiting family here for lunch and the food was delicious. The two of us went back and ate dinner and it was again delicious. We went back on a day when they were having the buffet and that time food not so good, selection really bad. We will go back again just not for the buffet. It is a little pricey, but seems to be the only restaurant in Havre De Grace with good food.
