I had a pleasant dinner at Laurrapin Grille alone one Wednesday night in quaint Havre de Grace. The restaurant was bustling with people, mainly in the bar area. I was seated near a window with an unfortunately obstructed view of the water. Service was outstanding. I started off with a half Pear Gorgonzola Salad which was deliciously full of a variety of ingredients much more than a simple salad. The entre was Maryland Rockfish topped with Lump Crab. This was my first time having rockfish. It was light, flaky and delicious, especially the crust, but was small in portion size. The fish included a few vegetables and lots of white rice. I finished up with Baked Banana a la Mode. It was tasty but since bananas arent my favorite dessert, Id pick someone else next time. Overall an outstanding restaurant. I would definitely visit again.
