Need customer service lessons. Our group didn’t even bother staying. Hostess was rude and condescending. From reading other reviews, sounds like that’s the norm.
Worst restaurant experience ever. The service was just awful. Basically sat and waited for 2 hours, no water, no silverware. Half the menu items were unavailable. Once we actually got our food- soup last, one dish at a time our sandwich was wrong, scallops were rubber. They made no effort to accommodate one of our guests with food allergies- didn’t even give us extra dishes. Spoke with the owner when trying to use our groupon just to be yelled at and berated in front of the entire patio dining crowd. The man actually made my 7 year old cry, and told us if the food was so bad we shouldn’t have eaten it… We were trying to be polite as we planned to use the groupon. Never ever ever again.
Great Crab House. I brought my lovely g/f to prices,we both eat a lot of seafood from our heritage she’s Chinese and I’m Greek.We ordered crabs,seafood gumbo,crab sandwich,etc. all the food was excellent,fresh and very tasty.Im happy that we went there together,drove 250 mi. round day trip which was worth it,we’re from Freehold,N.J.,i will be bringing her there again.
What a great place! The restaraunt itself is small and it’s nothing fancy but te atmosphere is homey and te food was great! We had good, friendly service as well. I highly recommend it.
Second time is not a charm. We often went to Price’s however when we got a really bad meal we thought the chef had a bad day. We returned only to have a second bad meal and will never return. The food tasted cheap, like a cafeteria type meal. The crab cake was grainy and way too much breading. Poor quality of food.
Regulare food is just ok. Shrimp were only fair for the price. I just hope the crabs are worth the extra price.
Hidden Treasure. Just far enough off the beaten track to be a hidden treasure. Good for lunch or dinner. Great view of the river if you’re seated outside. But don’t tell anyone else it’s here because I don’t like standing in line to wait for a table! Let’s keep it a secret between us.
