Fantastic!. We’ve been looking for a good Chinese restaurant and we’ve found a great one. The shrimp egg fu young was superb. The special (fresh crab steamed in garlic) was delicious – truly fresh and light.
Outstanding Authentic Chinese food. This is the real deal – excellent all around (food and service). I am a transplanted NYC Asian-American. Food here is first rate and on par with NYC. Dim sum is excellent. The law bak go (turnip cake) is probably the best I have had. The gook char siuw bow (baked roasted pork bun) are nicely done and very flavorful. Of note, this is considered brunch food by we Asians so do not expect it at other times. Other chinese dishes are equally good — noodle dishes, steamed fish (especially the suet yew = cod fish), bak chet gai (steamed chicken) and veggis. My family eats dinner here at leasts once per week.
Pretty good dim sum for Baltimore. (02/20/2010) Went here to celebrate Chinese New Year. We’d been waiting for dim sum in the Baltimore Metro area for a while, and was excited to see this place. Dim sum is good, if you need a dim sum fix, and don’t want to haul down to Wheaton or Silver Spring. They have all the standards, and do them pretty well (they might want to change the oil a little more frequently for the fried items). On the table: deep fried glutinous rice dumplings, sticky rice in lotus leaf, tripe, chicken feet, steamed BBQ pork bun, shu mai. They did have something you don’t see too often crispy skinned roast pork belly, definitely worth a try. Be prepared for Chinese-style service (no nonsense, and a little surly). We’ve been several times since, and the quality and portions of food have suffered over time. The dishes have the weird presence of too much sugar. Not quite at the level of DC, and DC’s nowhere near LA or NYC, but so far, up until recently the best greater Baltimore had.
Best Dim Sum in Baltimore/DC area. Asian Court is an unassuming restaurant in a strip mall that serves the best dim sum in the area with fast, friendly service. The carts rotate frequently and special items are brought to your table. I made a few special orders and they were brought promptly. The quality is excellent and the taste authentic. This place is better and more convenient than the ones in DC. A definite must for dim sum aficionados.

Meh. Fast, hot and cheap, but definitely not the greatest. most of what we ordered (dim sum) wasn’t bad, but it’s not at all vegetarian friendly. Their dessert dim sum items are really good (sesame balls, etc). i’ll go back to try their Chinese food, but not for dim sum.
Fast service, quality dim sum. I have been to dim sum places all over the country and there is nothing I hate more than having to wait forever while carts seem to not even notice I am there. This place almost attacks you as soon as you sit down, making for a quick lunch. The variety of food is better than usual and it is far cheaper than other places in the DC metro area. They also have some good authentic dishes on the main menu, but we usually go for the dim sum. Check it out.
