Bottom of the bucket is more like it. Side salad was old vegs with slimey lettuce. Steamed shrimp were weird colored and way over cooked. Other dishes we ordered were bland. Over priced and lacking quality for what you are paying for.
Huge portions. Great crabs
Yes its a hole in the wall but I absolutely love this place! The seafood has always been great. Every time I’m anywhere close to the area I make sure I visit get a half a pound or pound of steamed shrimp lightly seasoned and a snow crab cluster or two and call it a nite. They stay open extra late too when all the other places in the area are already shut down.
Hole in da wall, but good food. Right in da neighborhood. Prices actually $6 to $20 Soups & sides less
My husband and I frequent this place quite a bit. Total dive!!! But worth it all the way. We get the asl you can eat crabs and they are great. Nice size and nicely seasoned 80% of the time, had a couple times where they had no flavor. I attribute that to maybe a fill in cook that day. Most of the time, they are great. If you get take out crabs, don’t bother with the mediums. Just get the smalls. The size is barely noticeable but the price is a drastic jump. We paid 44 dollars for 3 dozen and had 8 left over. And trust me! My husband cann put some away! So can I!! Well worth the money.
My First Crabs. This is the first place I ever had Maryland Blue Crabs, and boy were they deerishish! Yummy. We got the all-you-can-eat, the bartender had to ask us if we knew how to make a Long Island Iced Tea, but she redeemed herself by shoo-ing away a hobo who sat at our table and tried to eat our crabs. A dive, definately, and not at all classy, but an overall hilarious and wonderful adventure.
